Raheja Group's Inorbit Mall expands in Vadodara, Gujarat


Inorbit Malls, a group company of the K Raheja Group, opened its first property in Gujarat at Vadodara on Tuesday. This is the developer's first mall in Gujarat.

"Now, we are open to developing properties in Ahmedabad as well," Kishore Bhatija, MD and CEO of Inorbit Malls said while announcing the new project that cost Rs 300 crore.

With the new property, Inorbit Malls has five operational malls pan-India in Vashi (Navi Mumbai), Cyberabad (Hyderabad), Viman Nagar (Pune) and Whitefield (Bangalore).

The developer has currently 2.8 mn sq ft of retail space under its ambit and has land banks in Pune and Hyderabad where it could open properties in future. Inorbit's first brownfiled project is likely to come up in 2014.
